Hennessy was founded in 1765 by Richard Hennessy and is the world’s largest cognac producers. It seems like the more than 250 year old cognac brand is accepted everywhere. It was the favourite drink of North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il, who is said to have spent $700, 000 a year on Hennessy Paradis. As you should know already, it’s also hip-hop’s favourite cognac.
It’s no surprise therefore that this smooth, trendy spirit can be enjoyed straight or mixed. If you’d love to try mixing Hennessy, we recommend mixing it with sweet, fruity flavours such as citrus, apple, berry and ginger. You can keep the cocktails simple by adding a single juice, or you can mix more elaborate drinks by adding the appropriate liqueurs, fruit and soft drinks.
Along with a bottle of Hennessy, you’ll need:
- Shot glass
- Cocktail glasses
- Apple slices
- Lime wedges

Here are cocktails you can make quite easily with Hennessy. Note: It’s best to use Highball for these cocktails as it allows space for the ice cubes and mixers.
