Hip Hop mogul and businessman, Sean Carter, popularly known as Jay Z is set to launch a new champagne -the Blanc de Noirs Assemblage Two, also known as A2.
The new A2 is set to be a collector’s item as only 2,333 bottles have been produced with the price for each bottle set at $850.
The launch is slated for the 18th of April, and it will be available for purchase on the same date.
The A2 bottle comes with a discreet label on the back with its number stamped on it – a respond to a demand from collectors.
“We hadn’t thought about numbering them originally. But customers and collectors were requesting specific numbers: 888, or their birth date,” Armand de Brignac CEO Sebastien Besson told Bloomberg.
“Jay is a very strong businessman, certainly one that likes to understand what consumers want and here to build the business for the long term.
“He always has a few bottles on hand for a celebration, I know that for sure.”
Jay Z went into business with Armand de Brignac three years ago in a partnership that birthed Jay Z’s Sovereign Brand and Armand de Brignac.
Since then, the company has launched the A1 Blanc de Noirs and a sweet prestige cuvée Demi Sec.
