Unlike many other gins, which boil their botanicals directly in the spirit, the 8 exotic botanicals in Bombay London Dry Gin are hand placed in a perforated copper basket so the spirit vapour passes through the copper basket delicately infusing the spirit with the aromatic flavours of the botanicals. • Beefeater London Dry Gin 75Cl

    4,160

Beefeater London Dry has a remarkably clean flavour, with a bold juniper character that is balanced with strong citrus notes, making it the perfect gin to enjoy with the tonic of your choice. It’s a real London Dry for those that enjoy the real taste of gin.
From James Burrough’s original recipe, Desmond Payne – the world’s most experienced master distiller – orchestrates the production of a bold and distinct gin that sets the standard for London Dry Gins. Since 1863, it has stood the test of time and now claims the title of the world’s most awarded gin. 1 distillery, 8 stills, 9 botanicals and 3 expert distillers produce this gin. The name “Beefeater” refers to the Yeoman Warders who are the ceremonial guards of the Tower of London. This is one of the first examples of gin brands using an aspirational image and emblem instead of a family name or location to position the product as the ultimate London Dry Gin.
