Nigeria Breweries has added to its range of alcoholic drinks with the launch of Ace Desire, a zobo flavoured alcoholic drink into the Nigerian market.
According to the Managing Director, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Mr. Franco Maria Maggi, the new product, which launched last Thursday at the Heineken House, Lagos is a a blend of spirit, natural Hibiscus or zobo extracts.
In his words, “This rich combination of a balanced mix of spirit and Hibiscus extracts contains 5.5% alcohol, and offers a tingling sensation and rich aroma.”
Ace Desire has sparkling wine colour and comes in an attractive and appealing 33cl glass bottle. Maggi added that drink was a delivery on yet another promise to delight consumers with the introduction of Ace Desire.
“The brand’s ambition is to lead in the Nigerian Ready To Drink category by establishing itself as the relentless pioneer of innovation”, Maggi said.
Prior to Ace Desire, Nigeria Breweries had launched the Ace range of alcoholic drinks December 2014 with an apple-flavoured Ace Passion. That was followed by Ace Roots, a spirit mixed alcoholic drink made from African herbs and fruits, in March 2015. Ace Rhythm, a mix of Vodka and Citrus was unveiled in November 2015.
Ace Desire will be made available in outlets across the country over the next few weeks.
