Glenmorangie Lasanta gives breath to its name. ‘Lasanta’ means ‘Warmth and Passion’ in Gaelic, which reflects what this single malt is all about. With an improved proof of 46% ABV, it is a delight for whisky lovers. The Glenmorangie Distillery is located in the far North of Scotland, beside the ancient Royal Burgh of Tain. Established in 1843, Glenmorangie is still perfected by the Sixteen Men of Tain today. In the Gaelic language, Glenmorangie means “valley of tranquility”. It defines the distillery’s peaceful setting on the banks of the picturesque Dornoch Firth.
Glenmorangie Lasanta excites the nose with scents of chocolate raisins, honey and caramel toffee quite popular with rum. It has a full and rounded taste of Spanish sherry flavour with notes of citrus, walnuts and butter toffee. The finish is long and satisfying with spiced orange and chocolate-covered hazelnuts.
