The Skalli family draws its origin from Algeria in the 1920s. At that time, Robert-Elie Skalli selected the best lands and he planted vineyards there with grape varieties from the South of France: Carignan, Cinsault, Grenache, Alicante. With his son Francis, they produce and vinify ample and generous wines, thanks to very low yields. From these flourishing years, the family will always keep a particular attachment for the wines of the South, the “hot” lands.
